BLESSED WITH A CHILD

Earlier I experienced the heartbreaking loss of two miscarriages, and doctors informed me about the potential complications that could arise in future pregnancies. Seeking solace and divine intervention, my family and I came to the Divine Retreat Centre. We prayed before the Blessed Sacrament and actively participated in the Friday service. During the end of the service Father prayed and told us that we were going to have a baby soon. Approximately six months later, I conceived, despite the doctor’s lack of hope due to the complications. They emphasized that the chances of saving the baby were slim unless I passed the 24-week mark. Through the power of prayer, daily recitation of the Rosary, and the unwavering support of Father Louis and the prayer team, I surpassed this critical hurdle. However, at the end of 32 weeks, it became evident that the baby’s growth and weight were not progressing as expected. The doctor prepared for an induced delivery, with both a normal delivery and a C-section as options, as the baby might not survive the pressure of delivery. By the grace of God, the delivery happened to be a normal one at the end of 34 weeks. Although the baby was premature and weighed less than average, she miraculously survived and was healthy. I attribute all the praise and glory to Lord Jesus Christ for blessing us with Natasha Joseph, our precious baby girl.

My mom had applied for a Super visa to come to Canada, In the past she faced two rejections for a temporary visa. As my father had passed away, and with my mom living alone in India, I felt fearful and began to lose faith. I cried out to the Lord, desperately seeking the restoration of my faith. I continued to recite and meditate on the Word of God that had been shared by Father during one of the retreats. Additionally, I started to pray the novena to St. Joseph. On the very last day of my Novena to St. Joseph, I received the news my mom was granted her visa. Praise and thanks be to my Lord.

I have been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and have been experiencing stomach pain in the lower abdomen while on my way to the Inner Healing Retreat. However, during the retreat, Father said that four people would be healed from abdominal pain, and I claimed that it was healing for myself. Miraculously, the pain completely left me that very day, and I have not experienced it since. I am now able to stand and kneel without any discomfort when I pray. Truly, God is good, and I am grateful for His healing touch in my life.

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST

I arrived in Canada in February 2020, and shortly after, the lock down began, triggering a period of intense anxiety and fear for me. Throughout the past three years, I struggled with these overwhelming emotions, which led me to visit the hospital on three occasions. However, in February 2023, I had an opportunity to attend a retreat. I approached the retreat with earnest preparation, praying that the Lord would heal me from my fears. Towards the end of the retreat, there was a message that five people with excessive fear are being healed, with one specifically being healed from the fear of driving. With faith and conviction, I claimed that God was healing me at that moment. Prior to the retreat, I had experienced a failed driving test. Remarkably, following the retreat, I pursued driving classes and successfully obtained my driver’s license in the same month. It is evident that God has indeed healed me and continues to work within and through me.

EXPERIENCED GOD’S LOVE

We are from Auckland, New Zealand, and we firmly believe that the Lord guided us to Toronto for His divine purpose. During our time here in Toronto, we got an opportunity to attend a retreat at Divine Retreat Centre Toronto. In New Zealand, we don’t have retreats quite like this, so it was a special gift from God for this great experience, we are truly grateful to Jesus for drawing us to this place. During the retreat, God worked powerfully in our lives, delivering us from various emotions and obstacles that had hindered us from fully experiencing His love. We were freed from discouragement, overthinking, doubt, and fatigue. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Sam and Fr. Louis for leading this anointed retreat. Only by the Lord’s grace all this could be possible. Thank you, Jesus!
